"The thing about us Diamonds? We're so big, we can't really do anything very small. It's always got to be big, magnificent, awe-inspiring. There's no middle ground, no compromising for us. We build and work bigger and bigger and bigger...but all that changed, when I found this little planet. Not that impressive at first. I just viewed it as a colony, a nice place to start. We diamonds have to conquer as many planets as possible. Leave a legacy, you know? All I wanted was a legacy to match my sisters', something worth remembering. But spending time on Earth made me realize that appreciating the small things is worth it. A legacy with lots of people who remember you but didn't really understand or know you isn't that great. But leaving one with only a few people who remember, love, admire and believe in you? That's infinitely more special. It's the most wonderful, amazing thing in the entire universe. This is the lesson I hope my son learns one day...even though I won't be around to teach it to him."
