7 weeks of work, 547 drawings on paper, 2493 frames of animation, a few sleepless nights.
This project was created as a final project for an animation class I attended during the winter of 2006. It was just about ready for the deadline, so there are things in here that I couldn't fix, like the constant flickering of the lines (though it's part of the initial effect I wanted to give) and the size of the movie. It ended up pretty big, but it should fit in mostly everybody's computer screen nowadays.
The DJ in the movie is supposed to be my cartoon self. I'm a DJ myself, so I guess I was more than fit for the role. The young lad playing Nintendo is based on my youngest brother.
I put a lot of energy in this, and still today it is one of the work in which I take the most pride in. So, for those who haven't seen it yet, I hope you will like!
Nicely done. I really like how you added lot's of humor into this piece of work. Nicely done for 7 weeks and a back aching, stomach cringing idea! I loved how the younger participant had the same idea near the end. It just fits together nicely. I love it. Keep up the good work! When I look at you're other works, including the Three Little Princesses, I seem to think that you should become an animator someday and co-write video's! It's always nice to see someone who appreciates art for what it really is. Nicely Done, I love it. Nice.
Yep! This continues to support my belief that you are, indeed, a very awesome person AND that you are my favourite artist-type person!
I SHALL SPREAD THIS URL LIKE THE PLAGUE TO MY FRIENDS (after I watch it a few more times XD)
Keep up the great work!
