You see, if you read carefully my last journal entry you probably noticed that I expressed my growing obsession for a game entitled "Stepmania", a computer version of the Dance Dance Revolution games, which you can find in arcades (or for Playstation consoles).
(If you don't know about DDR I strongly suggest you to Google it to find info)
That said, I recently purchased dance mats to use for my computer program, and OH GOD how they stink when you unwrap them! It smelled plastic all over the place for about a day, and because of the temperature, it's not possible to open windows for more than a couple of minutes without starting to freeze.
So THIS scene is what came to my mind when I was trying to find a way to get rid of the odour. Just too bad I don't own a clothesline here (for this, but also for a couple other reasons some of my classmates will remember).
So here ya go! Enjoy!
(PS.: I was asked for a wallpaper version, just click 'Download' to get the full-size picture!)
Ah, yes, I know exactly what kind of smell you mean. We didn't have exactly what you had, but my cousins did get some form of dance pad game a few years back. That smell really lingers for a while.
Anyway, quite interesting; thanks for sharing.

Ah, the smell of brand new stuff, it smells like brand new plastic until you use it for like three days, then it starts smelling either like your hands, or your feet... Good kinds of brand new smell, and bad kinds as well, I love the real-life interpretation of the eternal dillema of the side effects of the "Brand New" effect. *faves*
