My part of an art trade I had with *nintendrawer! She wanted me to draw her version of the Mario Bros. parents.

This was fun to do! I improvised a bit on the colour scheme for the parents, since *nintendrawer doesn't have much coloured drawings of those two on her gallery. Also, the turnips originally had faces, but since I'm not really sure in which world does the parents belong (the Human World or the Mushroom World?), I removed 'em. That should give enough room for both possibilities!

Took about 5 hours in total, in Photoshop.

I'm pretty sure Mario and Luigi's parents were from the Mushroom world, considering the ending to Yoshi's Island... Their parents lived in a mushroom house.
